Ky
Friedman
Ky is a master's student at Stanford in Earth Systems focusing in Environmental Computation. He has previously studied behavioral patterns of pacific herring in Alaska while working for NOAA, examined heat stress of kelp and coral at Hopkins Marine Station, and worked on wind energy policy for the EU while working in Brussels. Outside of school and work, Ky works on his old Swedish cars (a Saab 900S and a Volvo 240) and helps run Stanford's unofficial car club and car racing team. He plays jazz bass and makes his own marinara cream sauce too often.
