Leslie Willoughby edits scientific journal papers for clear presentation of research, and copy-edits and fact-checks the final proofs. She searches for illustrations to accompany DGE research, and obtains copyrights and permissions to publish them. She earned a B.S. and M.S. in Natural Resources at The Ohio State University with a focus on environmental interpretation. Her research analyzed the relationship between the level of abstraction of museum exhibits and visitors’ interest. She earned a graduate certificate in Science Communication from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her editorial assistance has been acknowledged by DGE authors in multiple papers that span a range of scientific disciplines.
