Samson
Gourevitch
My name is Samson, and I am a third-year student at the Ecole Polytechnique in France. I have always been passionate about Mathematics and Science, that’s why I have pursued engineering studies. After a two-year preparatory course to the French “Grandes Ecoles” entrance exams, I entered Polytechnique where I decided to specialize in Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence. I am captivated by AI’s potential to transform industries, solve complex problems, and enhance our daily lives. Beyond the theoretical aspects, I am keen on exploring the interdisciplinary applications of AI and Mathematics, like the work I will be doing here within Dr. Adrien Burlacot’s lab.
As a French engineering student, I am excited to contribute to the diverse tapestry of Carnegie and I am genuinely looking forward to becoming an integral part of this community. The prospect of engaging with like-minded individuals, participating in collaborative projects, and contributing to the academic discourse is both thrilling and humbling.
I can't wait to embark on this new chapter at the Carnegie Institution for Science.
